In normal times, it can be assumed that changes will take place slowly, if at all. Humanity needs much time to contemplate, to measure, and to respond to, all manifestations of possible change presented to it. Thus has it been and thus, it is expected, will be the future.

However, these are not, by any reckoning, normal times. Thus it is today that the speed of change accelerates, and out-distances by far, the capacity of many to respond and understand. They are left rudderless, without compass in the storm, and seek only to cling to the old certainties, which, sadly now, have left them unguarded and alone.

For many, this is a time of major confusion and fear. Little, it would seem, is there to change their apprehension that the long-expected armageddon is soon upon us, that humanity is doomed, that the millennium heralds the end of all life as we have known it, and that we must prepare for the “end times”. Such is the view of so many today that it behoves those who know otherwise to raise their voices against these destructive thoughtforms; to raise, instead, men’s hope of a better life for all.

Pledge

This better life will be man’s, beyond question. Maitreya and His Group are pledged to aid, in every possible way, man’s further progress; all that the Law allows will be given — men cannot imagine the gifts which lie in store. Sooner than many may think, the Great Lord will appear before the world, and, offering Himself in service to all, will create a new dispensation in which each will know and demonstrate his worth; each will see his brother as himself; his goal the establishment of true and lasting peace. Thus will it be, and thus will a new and thrilling passion for life replace the present cynicism and distrust. Have no fear, the Earth is not doomed nor about to end in chaos. On the contrary, plans are in hand for its regeneration and that of all its kingdoms.

Blessing

Men will soon know that this is a time like no other before. Never in man’s long history have the opportunities for such rapid progress as now pertains been his. Seize then this special time as the divine blessing which it is and move boldly forward into the future. Take heart from these words from One Who knows the Plan and Who calmly awaits its manifestation by the hands of men. Your Elder Brother knows that man will triumph.
